Advent Calendar 2024 - Succulents - Ready to Ship
***This is the final release of the spare advents.***
The Cookston Crafts Advent Calendar is returning!
This year I’m going to create a beautiful set of mini skeins inspired by the subtle tones in succulent plants. I’ve included some mood boards so you get an indication of colours. If you have had a Cookston Crafts Advent previously, expect a more muted pastel range of colours that will fade into the next colour subtly.
There will be a mix of some variegated, speckled yarns and some tonal yarns.
Colours in the images are examples of previous advents. Please note the 2024 colours will differ. They will co-ordinate with each other so you can choose to work with them in one project as you open each day but you may wish to re order them.
You can however opt for a tonal co-ordinating skein which can be ordered with your advent. Please do not order anything other than the co-ordinating skein with your advent as unfortunately I can’t separate orders.
All advents will be shipped tracked 48 in the UK at the beginning of November to give the a good chance of arriving in time for December 1st. International orders will be sent tracked earlier in October.
If you’d like to pay by instalments, please order the instalment option instead. Full details of how this works is found within that product listing although please note that separate arrangements need to be made for International Customers who wish to pay in instalments.
There are a few different yarn base options:
1 - Fingering 10g - 42 metres approx per mini skein 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon Platinum
2 - Double Knit 10g - 22 metres approx per mini skein 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon Platinum
3 - Fingering 20g - 85 metres approx per mini skein 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon Platinum
4 - Double Knit 20g - 45 metres approx per mini skein 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon Platinum
5 - NEW BASE! Fingering 20g - 80 metres approx per mini skein 70% Alpaca / 20% Silk / 10% Cashmere (Non Superwash - note colours may appear a little paler and speckles are less crisp on this luxurious base)
All the yarn will been hand dyed by myself, Claire Bentley at Cookston Crafts in Aberdeenshire. It will be packaged in a box similar to the one pictured.
This yarn will be dyed to give a variegated effect using various colours of professional acid dye.
Yarn is washed, rinsed and line dried.
The yarn has been rinsed until the water runs clear, however some bleeding MAY occur and handwashing in a lukewarm solution with wool detergent would be recommended. Do not soak or wring. Do not tumble dry.
Made in a smoke free home with love and care
