Gala - merino nylon fingering weight yarn
Gala - A highly variegated speckled yarn inspired by the border town of Galashiels. Thoughts of the river, factory buildings and the maroon of the rugby club feature in this rich moody colourway. A great way to grab a skein of this yarn if you can’t make it along to Tangled Galashiels.
It has been hand dyed by myself, Claire Bentley at Cookston Crafts in Aberdeenshire.
This yarn has been dyed using various colours of professional acid dyes.
Platinum Fingering - 100 grams 425 metres 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon
These have been washed, rinsed and line dried .Although I have tried to photograph this yarn in plenty natural light, the actual colour may vary slightly to the way the image is presented on your screen. The yarn has been rinsed until the water runs clear, however some bleeding MAY occur and handwashing in a lukewarm solution with wool detergent would be recommended. Do not soak or wring. Do not tumble dry. Made in a smoke free home with love and care x
