What do you buy the crafter who has everything?

Chances are if you are passionate about your craft then you will have lots of craft supplies – lets face it, curating this collection is a hobby all of it’s own!

But what do you say when your friends and family ask what you’d like?

How about upgrading your equipment?

Investing in a set of interchangeable needles was the best decision I ever made.  No matter how many fixed circulars I had, I never seemed to have the right combination! I’ve used my Knit Pro Zing Interchangeables for years and really love them.

Or if you really want to treat yourself I’d recommend the Chiao Goo Interchangeables which you can buy from Katie at Sealy Macwheelie.

If you are a crocheter, this Knit Pro Zing Crochet Hook Set in a handy pouch contains all your regular sizes and is a budget friendly £23.

For the hand dyed yarn lovers, obviously there is an abundance of yarn out there but a yarn winder and swift might make a nice gift.  I put up with a clunky old plastic yarn winder for so long, it did the job and I didn’t feel the need to change until I tried this wooden one from Knit Pro.  Oh me, it is a dream to use and creates mesmerizing yarn cakes!

This year I’ve put together a few yarn kits for customers and I can highly recommend the Oak Forest Shawl Kit from Life is Cozy which starts from £38.50.

If you prefer to knit with Double Knit yarn then what about a kit for a colourwork Soldotna sweater which would start at around £70?

If putting colours together is difficult then remember, I’m available to help you in person in the workshop or via a video call.

I also have a very limited number of November Treat Boxes available which are ready to ship and I’ve just managed to set this up as a subscription for 2021 so you can receive a surprise treat box every two months!

If you are looking for gift ideas for beginner’s then the Crochet Kit with supporting videos is a great way to start or perhaps the chunky hat kit.

If all else fails then a gift voucher is maybe the best way to go.  I can do hard copies of these or digital vouchers.

Whatever you decide, remember that I’m here to help!
